[CINEMA] Aggiornamento su Avatar

Mentre tutto il mondo attende ancora il primo teaser trailer del nuovo film di James Cameron, ecco quanto dichiarato da Jim Gianopulos in un'intervista riguardo Avatar:

I've seen the film-most of the film-and I think Jim's comment that it's like dreaming only you're awake...is enough. (laughs)-Is accurate. I think it's a truly amazing film in the sense that he's created visual images, and a story, and a world, and creatures and experiences that I've just never seen in a cinema. It's just truly amazing. [...] The other thing I would say is, you know, no one ever wants to see the hype of a movie built up and expectations that get out of control, but, you know, this movie delivers on a level unlike anything I've ever seen. So I'd like to try to keep people's enthusiasm within rational levels, but I'm telling you I think this thing will surpass anyone's rational expectations.

Ho visto quasi tutto il film e credo che il commento di Cameron "E' come sognare da svegli" sia abbastanza esaustivo - ride -. Credo che tutto il film sia eccezionale: la storia, il mondo, le creature, le immagini e l'esperienza in generale: penso che non si sia mai visto nulla del genere al cinema.
L'altra cosa che vorrei dire è che nessuno vuole che le aspettative del pubblico per questo film vadano fuori controllo, ma quest'opera non è simile a nient'altro che abbia visto. Io cerco di contenere le aspettative ad un livello razionale, ma come ho detto penso che questa cosa superi ogni aspettativa razionale.

Ha aggiunto infine altri dettagli riguardo ad esempio l'uscita, sottolineando che il film non uscirà soltanto in 3D, per poter coprire una più ampia distribuzione nel mondo.
Per concludere ritorniamo alla questione del primo trailer: a quanto pare potrebbe uscire tra un mese, in concomitanza con la prima cinematografica di X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
